All Roads Lead to California

I’m a genealogy enthusiast. Naturally, I believe every person — every family — has an interesting story to tell. Here, I will tell mine. In the telling, I hope I can share some of what I’ve learned, and learn even more. A brief introduction: I have traced my family’s roots to Jamaica, W.I.; antebellum Virginia; the Gulf Coast; and New Mexico when it was still part of old Mexico. For reasons both logical and utterly unknown, the branches of my family all decided to set new roots in California.
