For thirty years, the New Jersey Chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society, aka NJAAHGS, has strived to preserve African ancestral family history, genealogy, and cultural diversity by promoting research and disseminating information throughout the community. We seek to create a network of persons with similar interest, sharing our experiences and resources to assist members in documenting their histories.
